BC Games Coach Mentorship Program
Coaching at a BC Winter or BC Summer Games represents an excellent coach development project for aspiring coaches. The BC Games Coach Mentorship Program is a partnership between viaSport, Canadian Sport Institute Pacific, and the BC Games Society and is designed to help coaches enhance and develop their coaching skills in pursuit of higher levels of coaching certification.
Provincial Sport Organizations apply for inclusion in the program, which is open to apprentices and mentors of all genders identified by the sport. Up to ten sports will be selected for each of the BC Winter and BC Summer Games. The program is flexible to allow Provincial Sport Organizations to structure mentorship opportunities that fit their coach development pathways.
Further details including the guidelines and application can be found on the viaSport website.
