Call for Expressions of Interest: Trail-Rossland 2026 BC Winter Games Legacy Fund

The Trail-Rossland 2026 BC Winter Games Society is proud to announce an open call for Expressions of Interest for financial grants through its Legacy Fund, continuing its commitment to creating a lasting impact in Host Communities.

While the Games successfully delivered an exceptional experience for British Columbia’s top young athletes, the Society remains equally dedicated to ensuring meaningful community benefits endure well beyond the event. Following the distribution of surplus equipment and supplies throughout the region, the Society is now inviting youth-centred organizations to apply for financial grants of up to $10,000, with average awards of approximately $2,500.

Priority will be given to organizations that promote youth development in the following areas:

  • Sport participation
  • Coaching, officiating, and mentoring
  • Retention of girls in sport
  • Inclusion and retention of under-represented groups in sport
  • Community youth or service initiatives
  • Arts and cultural programming
