The Guide to the Games is your one-stop shop for information about each BC Winter and BC Summer Games. Use the Guide to the Games menu to find out more about registration, accommodation, transportation, bursaries, and more, and look out for a downloadable version of the Guide approximately one month before each Games.
Participants can also attend Guide to the Games (G2G) Sessions online and in-person to learn more about the Games experience and have the opportunity to ask any outstanding questions.

Below are the key details you need to take care of before attending the BC Winter or BC Summer Games.
Qualify for the BC Winter or BC Summer Games
The qualification process to attend the BC Games varies from sport-to-sport.
Generally qualification events for the Games are held beginning 6 months prior to the Games up to about 5 or 6 weeks prior to the Games, depending on the sport. Qualifications for the Games are coordinated by the Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) and managed by the organization or the Zone Representatives.

Register for a G2G Session to learn more about the Games
G2G Session are information session that run in the month before each Games both in-person and online. Visit our G2G Sessions page to learn more and to register.
Look out for Registration Confirmation Email
Participant emails with information on how to access the BC GAMES PARTICIPANT WEBSITE will be sent approximately one month before each Games.
Log into the BC GAMES PARTICIPANT WEBSITE
Once you have received your registration email, you can log into the BC GAMES PARTICIPANT WEBSITE. See your confirmation email for login details. You will be required to reset your password when you login.
On the website, you will be required to review and agree to the terms of participation in the Games.
Complete conditions of entry on BC GAMES PARTICIPANT WEBSITE
Items to complete and review on the BC GAMES PARTICIPANT WEBSITE include:
- BC Games Code of Conduct and Participant Waiver
- Parental Consent – those under 19 will also be required to have their parent/guardian complete a parental consent form on the BC GAMES PARTICIPANT WEBSITE
- Medical/Allergy Form – complete the medical/allergy form, including providing any dietary restrictions
- Culture of the Games Module – all participants are required to complete the Culture of the Games course. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
- Travel Itinerary – be sure to print your travel itinerary before you leave for the Games. This document not only outlines where you will depart from when travelling to the Games but also where you will catch your bus/flight for your travel home.
